We moved out to France in September 2004 after visiting relatives just down the road for a weekend! We wanted to buy a holiday home, but when we saw the views from this house we knew we had to have it, and decided to make it a permanent move.
Although the first year was a struggle, we have never thought about going ‘home’, this is our home now.We have three children out here, two at school - it’s amazing to hear your children speaking fluently in another language! We also have a small dog - a Bichon Frisee - and two cats - who live outside.
